apparently y'all get yearly updates from me :) i'm pretty sure no one reads this anymore anyway...but here it goes.

1. i'm this year's mdec chair for circle k again this year...and i'm loving it! everything is going very well...woot!
2. i'm going to be going to greece to study abroad for 2nd semester...provided everything works out like it's supposed to.
3. i changed my major to sociology.
4. the peace corps it too long of a commitment, so i think i'm going to do americorps instead.
5. i'm STILL single. oh well...i don't have time for a boy anyway.
6. someone stole my scarf...and i'm mad!
7. i'm going to NY in january to visit one of my besties!
8. my life is boring.
9. i don't know what to do with my life...i know what i want to do, but i'm not so sure it will pay the bills.
10. i got hit on by a 38 year old man the other night at work...persistently. and it was annoying. along those same lines...one of the bus boys at work tonight (who just happens to be a grown...at least in his 40's....mexican man) asked me if i was married. then if i had a boyfriend. then to be his girlfriend...all in spanish. oh wow.

so i'm pretty sure that i haven't written on here in forever...my life is pretty crazy busy. circle k is crazy, school is crazy, family is crazy...you name it, it's crazy! a quick update on my life (the top 10 most important)

1. mdec is coming up soon for circle k and i have SO much to do!
2. circle k at uindy is going AMAZING! we've had lots of people at our projects and meetings, and i'm pumped about it!
3. i constantly feel under pressure to do amazingly in all of my classes...now that i'm in the education program i feel like i'm always under a watchful eye. (STRESSFUL!)
4. my friends are amazing supporters and listeners...i thank god for them every day
5. emily's advice: don't try to figure out what you want with your life more than a month in advance.
6. sleep isn't all that important. as long as i get at least 8 hours one day a week, i'll be good to go.
7. guys are still dumb...they do not grow up by age 20 or 21 (for the most part).
8. money is not a fun thing to deal with. especially when you have none.
9. karen (the lady i live with) is one of the most flighty people i think i have ever met in my life.
10. there are a few people in the elementary education program that i DO NOT like. i'm not quite sure how i'll deal with it for the rest of my college career.

so i'm in portland right now...and it's pretty much awesome! i'm meeting lots of new people, having fun, and making sweet memories:) however, i do still miss my beloved friends from home. i hope you all are doing well, and can't wait until i get to see you again! alright, i've got to run! almost time for dinner! love you!!!
